Draft for Sactik’s lawyer to review before launch. It explains how this website may be used and the basis on which Sactik works. Each project is governed by its own written quote or contract, which takes priority over this page.

Using this website
You may read, print and share the pages and the downloadable brochures and checklists for your own business use. Do not copy the site or its models and images to pass them off as your own, and do not use it in a way that harms it or other visitors.
Information and illustrative models
The guides, checklists and brochures are general information about BIM practice. They are not legal, engineering or design advice, and your project documents, the standards named in them and the current edition of any standard always take priority. The 3D images on this site are illustrative models made for the site. They are not photographs and they are not client projects.
Quotes and scope
Work starts only on a written scope that names the services, the level of development, the standards, the software and file formats, the deliverables and the dates. Anything outside that scope is a change request and is priced before it is done. A quote is valid for the period stated in it.
Payment
Fees, the payment schedule, any advance and the currency are set out in the quote or contract. Work is invoiced as agreed there. Taxes are added where they apply.
Your files and confidentiality
We will sign your non-disclosure agreement before you share files, or send ours. We use your files only to deliver the agreed work, share them only with the people who need them to do it, and return or delete them on request when the project ends, subject to any record-keeping the law requires.
Ownership of the work
You keep ownership of the drawings and information you give us. Ownership of the finished deliverables passes to you as set out in the contract, normally once the agreed fees are paid. We keep our own tools, templates and general know-how.
Review and revisions
Each delivery is checked before it is sent and comes with a note of assumptions and open questions. The scope states how many review rounds are included. Errors against the agreed scope are corrected at no charge.
Limits on liability
Sactik provides modeling and coordination services. The design, engineering and construction decisions on a project remain with the project team and its licensed professionals. Subject to what the law does not allow us to limit, our liability for any project is limited as set out in the contract, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, such as Google Maps, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, unless the contract for a project says otherwise.
